What brings people here.

These are some of the things people come to me for. None of them means you're broken — they mean something in your system is working hard in a way that costs you. My job is to help you understand the pattern, find where you actually have a choice in it, and practice something better.

I Can Help You With

Anxiety

If you suffer from debilitating anxiety, you know exactly how devastating it can be.

  • Feeling nervous, restless, or tense?

  • Having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom?

  • Having an increased heart rate?

  • Breathing rapidly?

  • Trouble concentrating?

  • Having trouble sleeping?

Anxiety isn't evidence that something is wrong with you. It's evidence that your threat system is doing its job — loudly, and often about things that aren't actually dangerous. In our work, we look at how your anxiety operates: what sets it off, what it tries to convince you is true, and what it costs you. Then we practice different responses — ways to settle your body, question the automatic conclusions, and act on what matters anyway. Many people feel relief early on. The deeper change comes from giving your system something it can rely on.

Chronic Pain

If you suffer from debilitating pain, you know exactly how difficult it can be.

  • Persistent pain

  • Pain in the back, joints, mouth, and face

  • Fatigue

  • Injuries

  • Headaches

  • Backaches

  • Joint pains due to arthritis

  • Sinus pain

Pain is real, and it reorganizes your life around it. Some pain has a clear physical cause we won't pretend away. But the experience of pain — how loud it is, how much space it takes up — is something your nervous system has learned, and learned things can be updated. Using hypnotherapy and NLP, we work on the patterns around pain: the tension, the dread, the way attention locks onto it. The goal isn't a miracle. It's less pain, more of your life back.

Depression

If you suffer from incapacitating depression, you know exactly how distressing it can be.

  • Sadness

  • Tiredness

  • Trouble focusing or concentrating

  • Irritability

  • Frustration

  • Loss of interest in pleasurable or fun activities

  • No energy

  • Restlessness

  • Worrying

Depression has a way of turning a feeling into a verdict about your whole life. "I feel low today" quietly becomes "nothing will ever change." That's the trick we work on first — separating today's weather from the forecast. Then we look at what the pattern is actually doing: the withdrawal, the stuckness, the stories it tells. Sessions are practical. We find the small levers that are actually within reach and start moving them.

Insomnia

If you suffer from draining insomnia, you know how miserable it can be.

  • Difficulty falling asleep at night

  • Waking up during the night

  • Waking up too early

  • Not feeling well-rested after a night's sleep

  • Daytime tiredness or sleepiness

  • Irritability

  • Increased errors or accidents

Sleep is one of those things you can't force — and the harder you try, the further it gets. That's the trap: the effort to sleep becomes the reason you can't. We work on the patterns around sleep instead — the racing mind, the tension, the clock-watching dread — and practice calming the system before bed, not in it. Calm may be the best time to practice a coping skill.

Phobias

If you suffer from a crippling phobia, you know how debilitating it can be.

  • Pounding or racing heart

  • Shortness of breath

  • Rapid speech or inability to speak

  • Dry mouth

  • Upset stomach

  • Nausea

  • Elevated blood pressure

  • Trembling or shaking

A phobia isn't a character flaw. It's your mind running a very convincing, very fast program about something specific — and because it runs before you can think, reasoning with it doesn't work well. Hypnotherapy and NLP work at the level the program runs on, which is why phobias are often the fastest things to shift. Fast, though, is not the same as guaranteed, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Sports Performance

If you suffer from performance or focus issues, you know how frustrating it can be.

  • Missing performance goals

  • Lacking motivation

  • Performance anxiety

  • Difficulty performing when others are watching

  • Feeling anxious in competition

  • Loss of focus or mental lapses

  • Loss of performance post-injury

  • Improve your mental attitude

Most performance problems aren't skill problems — you already have the skill. They're interference problems: the mind getting loud at exactly the wrong moment. We work on the interference. Focus, composure under pressure, recovering after a mistake or an injury — these are trainable patterns, and athletes practice them the same way they practice anything else. Before they're needed, not during.

Smoking

If you’ve tried to quit smoking and not been successful, you know exactly how frustrating it can be.

  • Heart disease

  • Cancers

  • Stroke

  • Peripheral vascular diseases

  • Emphysema

  • Bronchitis

  • Ulcers

After quitting:

  • 20 minutes: heart rate, blood pressure drop

  • 12 hours: carbon monoxide in the bloodstream drops to normal

  • 2 weeks–3 months: circulation improves, lung function improves; heart attack risk begins to drop

  • 1–9 months: cough less, breathe easier

  • 1 year: risk of coronary heart disease cut in half

  • 2–5 years: risk of cancer cut in half; stroke risk is reduced to that of a nonsmoker

  • 10 years: half as likely to die from lung cancer

  • 15 years: risk of coronary heart disease is the same as non-smoker’s risk

If you've tried to quit and it didn't hold, that's not a failure of willpower — it's a sign that the pattern runs deeper than willpower reaches. Smoking isn't just a habit; it's tangled up with stress, breaks, identity, the feeling of "mine." We untangle it. We work on what smoking is actually doing for you and practice getting those things another way, so quitting stops being a fight against yourself.

Weight Loss

If you’ve been frustrated trying to lose weight, you know how overwhelming it can be.

  • Unhappy with your appearance

  • Reluctant to be social or pursue career advancement

  • Low mood or insecurity

  • Low self-esteem

  • Feeling fatigued or sluggish

  • Wanting to improve fitness

  • Difficulties with physical activities

Weight is rarely just about food, and diets that pretend otherwise tend to end the same way. We work on the patterns around eating — the stress eating, the all-or-nothing thinking, the way one bad day becomes a reason to quit the whole thing. The goal isn't to white-knuckle your way to a number. It's to change the relationship so the number takes care of itself.
